28 Jul - Kevin Feige can now breathe a sigh of relief, as Marvel's latest superhero movie, "Fantastic Four: First Steps" has great numbers at the box office.

The movie, which opened on 25 July, made USD 118 million in the US after three days and USD 100 million overseas, bringing a total of USD 218 million. However, the result is short of original analysts' expectation of a domestic opening of USD 130 million.

Nonetheless, the film's three-day opening did surpass the previous Marvel movies, with "Captain America: Brave New World" making USD 88.5 million during its opening in February while "Thunderbolts*" made USD 74.3 million in May.
