Irfan Zaini finds new fame after becoming Malik for "Blood Brothers: Bara Naga"

21 Apr - Irfan Zaini couldn't help but feel joyful to receive attention from Malay fans for his performance in "Blood Brothers: Bara Naga".

The actor, who had been more focused on the Indian entertainment industry prior to his appearance in the film as the character Malik, said that he has been recognised more when he is out and about now.

"As soon as I went into the mall, I got Malay fans wanting a photo with me. A lot of them even called me by my character's name. Praise be to Allah, the movie created such a huge impact," he said.

Irfan admitted that the film was his first action movie, and that he even made his preparation for five months prior to filming.

"This is the biggest project I have ever been in for the past six years. So I had to work hard to make sure the opportunity given is not being wasted," he added.

As for the hardest scene he had to do, Irfan said that he had to repeat a fight scene with director Syafiq Yusof for 38 times to ensure that the scene is perfect.

"It was not easy to make the film. I am thankful to all the audiences who gave us their support," he added.
