James Gunn: Lots of actors want to play Batman!

DC boss James Gunn says "everyone wants to play" Batman
30 Sep - James Gunn recently revealed that he has been getting a lot of interests from big name actors to star in the upcoming Batman movie, "The Brave and the Bold".

The DC Studios co-head shared that piece of information in a recent interview with IGN, saying, "Listen, first of all, I can't tell you the amount of big actors that have told me they want to be Batman. I think you'd have a harder time finding actors who don't want to be Batman."

"He's the one character everyone wants to play. That's the truth," he added.

"The Brave and the Bold" will be different from Matt Reeves' "The Batman"
Gunn also admitted earlier that Batman is his biggest issue right now as the character is incredibly important to DC.

He continued, "So outside of the stuff that I'm doing in the projects that are actively going, our two priorities are finishing our Wonder Woman and our Batman scripts."

The upcoming movie, which will be helmed by Andy Muschietti, will be based comic book writer Grant Morrison's take on the character, and will feature the character of his son, Damien Wayne.

The film is one of the many titles currently in the works, including "Clayface", "Supergirl" and "Man of Tomorrow".
