2 Oct - Jeremy Irons is the latest star to join the cast of Amazon MGM's remake of the 1980s cult classic, "Highlander".

While Dave Bautista has already been cast to play the villainous Kurgen, it was reported that Irons will play the movie's other antagonist, the leader of a secret order called The Watchers.

It is noted that Henry Cavill, who plays the titular character, Connor Macleod sustained a leg injury during pre-production in mid-September, which has now delayed production to early next year.

On 20 September, Cavill shared a photo of his injured leg, and shared the poem "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley in the caption that include the lines, "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul."

The movie has already cast big names in the film, from Russell Crowe, Karen Gillan, Max Zhang to Djimon Honsou.
