3 Jun - Lady Gaga has finally confirmed rumours of her guest appearance in Netflix's "Wednesday" by making a surprise at the annual TUDUM fan event.

The singer-actress took the stage at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on 31 May, as she emerged from a coffin with the words "Here lies the monster queen" appearing on the lid before performing her song "Zombieboy" from the new album, "Mayhem".

She later performed a dance to the Cramps' "Goo Goo Muck" that went viral in season one of the show, and then sang "Abracadabra" before returning to her coffin.

Despite the confirmation, Netflix is still mum on what character the singer is playing.

It is noted that Lady Gaga previously joined in on the viral Wednesday dance, which also had another version where TikTok users perform the same dance lead actress Jenna Ortega did in the series using Lady Gaga's song, "Bloody Mary".

Lady Gaga joins the many newcomers in the second season that include Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter and Noah Taylor. The series will be released in two parts, with the first part premiering on 6 August.
