3 Oct - It's a round of good news for Chong Keat Aun's movie, "Mother Bhumi", which has been selected for the Main Competition at the Tokyo International Film Festival and also nominated at the Golden Horse Awards in Taipei.

On 1 October, Janji Pictures shared the good news on social media, writing, "MOTHER BHUMI Selected for the Main Competition at the Tokyo International Film Festival!"

"Brought to life by a transnational team from Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Italy, directed by Chong Keat Aun, starring Fan Bingbing with Natalie Hsu, Bai Run-yin, and Pearlly Chua, Mother Bhumi will have its World Premiere at the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival, which kicks off on 27 October, competing for the festival's highest honour."
