27 Nov - It's been three years since a fourth film was announced, and now it was reported that "Rush Hour 4" is finally in the works.

It was reported that the revival was actually requested by US President Donald Trump, with Paramount now on board to distribute the movie starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.

Brett Ratner is set to return to helm the movie. It is noted that the director directed the three previous "Rush Hour" titles before studios severed ties with him, after six women, including Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge, accused Ratner of sexual assault and harassment.

He had since immigrated to Israel.

The movie, which will see the return of original stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, will mark Ratner's first feature film since the 2014 Dwayne Johnson-starrer, "Hercules."

It is noted that Jackie Chan is now in his 70s, while Tucker hasn't been in a lead role since the third "Rush Hour" movie.
