16 Jul - Another actor has been added to the long list of "Street Fighter" cast, and this time it's Indian actor and martial artist, Vidyut Jammwal.

The 44-year-old star, known for movies like "Commando" and "Junglee", will be playing the role of Dhalsim in the upcoming live-action film adaptation from Legendary, marking his Hollywood debut.

A mystical yogi and pacifist, Dhalsim's strengths as a fighter includes the ability to stretch his limbs and spitting fire. The character first made its appearance in "Street Fighter II: The World Warrior" in 1991.

Vidyut joins other stars that include Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson as Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and Hirooki Goto as E. Honda.

The film will be helmed by Kitao Sakurai, though no story plot has been released.
