2 Dec - "Zootopia 2" proves that animated feature sequels will always get fans running to the theatres, as it makes bank throughout its five-day opening.

The movie makes USD 156 million in the US alone throughout Thanksgiving week, including USD 96.8 million during its traditional weekend. In the US alone, the film now has the second-best Thanksgiving launch, losing only behind "Moana 2".

Meanwhile, it made a record in China, breaking over USD 272 million, making a total international cume of USD 400 million.

This means that "Zootopia 2" has now earned USD 556 million globally.

Meanwhile, "Wicked: For Good" remained in number two with the additional USD 93 million, bringing a total of USD 393.3 million globally in just 10 days.
