Ariana Grande returns to music with "Petal"
30 Apr - The wait is over as Ariana Grande reveals the title of her eighth studio album.

In a series of black and white images she posted on 28 April, the singer revealed that the album will be called "Petal," and that it is "something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging."

"Petal" is being executive-produced and co-written by Ariana and Swedish-Persian producer Ilya, the latter who co-produced and co-wrote much of Ariana's 2024 album "Eternal Sunshine".

The album came just as Ariana wrapped up her long-time process for "Wicked" and its sequel, as well as her upcoming new comedy movie, "Focker-in-Law," which is the fourth instalment of the "Meet the Parents" franchise.

Prior to the new album, Ariana released her seventh album, "Eternal Sunshine," which had the hit song "we can't be friends (wait for your love)".

The new album is set to be released on 31 July via Republic Records.

"Focker-in-Law" to be released in November
