9 Mar - Ben Stiller has slammed the White House for the misuse of his movie for what he claimed to be war propaganda.

The actor-producer recently took to X to express his ire, after clips from his 2008 hit film, "Tropic Thunder" was included in a montage shared on the White House's social media accounts that was captioned, "JUSTICE THE AMERICAN WAY".

Stiller posted, "Hey White House, please remove the Tropic Thunder clip. We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie."

It is noted that the video, released amid the US-Israeli attack against Iran, featured several clips from movies like "Gladiator," "Iron Man," "Top Gun," and "Deadpool" and were intercut with real-life drone strike footage.

Stiller received a lot of support from other X-users, who expressed that the video was in poor taste, seeing that the US forces were very likely responsible for a strike on an Iranian girls' school Shajareh Tayyebeh in Minab that killed hundreds of children on the first day of its unwarranted strike.

The White House has been slammed by various celebrities and artistes for the past year over the misuse of their work. Back in November, Sabrina Carpenter blasted them for illegally using her song "Juno" for a video promoting ICE deportations.
