Bront Palarae (wait, his real name is Nasrul?!) appointed to MyCreative Board

21 Jan - Bront Palarae is now joining the Board of Directors for the MyCreative Ventures, a government-backed investment arm dedicated to supporting Malaysia's creative industries.

Announcing the news on social media on 19 January, the team stated, "We extend our warmest congratulations and welcome to Yang Berusaha Encik Nasrul Suhaimin @ Bront Palarae on his appointment as a Board Member of MyCreative Ventures Group."

"With his extensive experience across the creative industries, spanning performance, production and a deep understanding of the arts ecosystem, Yang Berusaha Encik Nasrul's appointment is expected to add strategic depth and industry-driven insight to the Board," it added.

This milestone reflects MyCreative Ventures' continued commitment to strengthening governance, advancing cultural and economic value, and scaling the impact of Malaysia's creative industries regionally and globally.

Many took to the comments to congratulate the "Pengabdi Setan" star, including his "Rona Roni Makaroni" co-star, Sharifah Amani, who wrote, "Steady Abang Nasrul."

Meanwhile, netizens couldn't help but joke about the fact that they never knew the actor's real name. One commented stated, "This is the first time I saw Bront's actual ID name. All the best!"
