Gracie Abrams crosses over from music to a movie

15 Jan - Gracie Abrams is set to make her acting debut in an upcoming A24 movie.

The singer-songwriter has been cast in Halina Reijn's new movie, which marks the director's third film with producer David Hinojosa after "Babygirl" and "Bodies Bodies Bodies".

No information has been released regarding the movie itself, which is titled "Please".

Despite being the daughter of famed producer and director JJ Abrams, this will be Gracie's first film. The singer is most known for her successful music career, releasing hits after hits like "Risk," "Close to You," and "That's so True".

She even won New Artist of the Year at the American Music Award last year.
