24 Jun - Keanu Reeves is in talks to star in the new live-action hybrid "Lego" movie.

The actor reportedly will reteam with Josh Cooley, who previously helmed "Toy Story 4," where Keanu was involved as the voice actor of Duke Caboom.

No details have been released regarding the movie, but that it will be produced by Universal.

It is noted that Keanu is also set to lend his voice to the Japanese stop-motion action feature, "Hidari," directed by Masashi Kawamura.

Prior to Cooley, a live-action film was announced to be helmed by Aaron and Adam Nee of "The Lost City" back in 2023. However, no further development had come from the news.

The last Lego animated feature was 2017's "The Lego Ninjago Movie". In 2024, Pharrell Williams released a documentary about himself told through Lego animation, produced by The Lego Group.
