17 Apr - It was reported that Matt LeBlanc is set to make his TV return with a new cop series on CBS.

The network was revealed to have ordered a development room for the show called "Flint," which is reportedly created by Evan Katz of "24" fame.

If everything goes well, it will mark LeBlanc's return since CBS' "Man with a Plan".

"The show is about a burnt-out LAPD detective on the verge of retirement, who's blindsided when the city extends his service by five years," explained CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach at a press briefing for CBS' 2026-2027 primetime lineup. "Determined to get fired, he breaks rules and disobeys orders, which to his dismay makes him an even better cop."

The project is also being executive produced by the "Friends" star.

Ever since his 10-year run as Joey Tribbiani on "Friends" and the short-lived spin-off, "Joey," LeBlanc has starred in "Episodes," where he played fictionalised version of himself, and then four years on "Man with a Plan," a sitcom that ended in 2020.
