2 Jul - "Top Gun: Maverick" actress Monica Barbaro has recently been cast to play a role in the upcoming prequel of "Ocean's Eleven".

The actress will be joining Margot Robbie, who is also producing the movie under her LuckyChap banner, as well as Bradley Cooper, who will be directing the film.

The plot of the movie has yet to be released, though it was previously revealed that the movie will be set before the events of the 2001 movie starring George Clooney.

The 2001 Steven Soderbergh movie was a remake of the 1960 heist film of the same name, starring the members of the Rat Pack that include Frank Sinatra.

It spawned two other sequels, as well as a female-centric spinoff starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway.

Barbaro, originally a TV actress starring in shows like "Chicago Justice" and "The Good Cop," will be seen next in "Artificial".
