10 Sep - Rajesh Sharma has finally addressed his previous hospitalisation following an incident on the set of "Fauzi," stating that it was not a bug bite that caused the whole situation.

The actor, who was reported by actress Sudipa Chatterjee to have been hospitalised after suffering an insect bite while filming the Prabhas-starrer back in July, shared with NDTV that the incident had nothing to do with the movie set itself.

Rajesh said that the whole thing was caused by a skin problem on his right leg that had been going on for a long time and eventually developed into an infection. It was worsened due to the fact that his diabetes levels were high.

"Nothing happened on Prabhas's film set. Neither Prabhas nor the unit was responsible in any way. They are nice people. Nothing happened in Hyderabad while I was shooting there. After I flew back to Kolkata, in a day or two, the situation became severe. Because my diabetes was very high and I didn't take it seriously at the beginning," he said.

However, the actor said that he would not blame Sudipa for misinforming the public about the condition, saying that she was just concerned about him.

"She's a good friend. Out of concern, she posted that. But she was wrongly informed," she added.
