9 Feb - Tony Jaa's camp has recently revealed that the Thai action star's weight loss was due to previous struggle with gallbladder cancer.

The confirmation came after netizens noticed how thin he was in a photo he shared in an Instagram post on 31 January, which he captioned, "The journey is about to begin. One More Round."

A source close to the "Ong Bak" star stated that Tony was diagnosed with stage 3 gallbladder cancer back in June 2024.

"He initially experienced severe abdominal pain and jaundice, leading to a hospital visit where the cancer was discovered," said the source.

However, they assured that the actor is doing much better and stronger now after his surgery.

"But he still needs close medical supervision and his family is taking good care of him," the source added.
