Horror movies to watch this November

Here are some movies to scare your socks off this November.

Who says only Halloween brings all the scares? November, too, has some of the scariest movies to offer this time around.

From local Malay horror to haunted Thai ships to all kinds of havoc-wrecking Chinese ghosts, November has got them all.

With a total of six scary movies to catch, horror movie fans will be spoilt for choice. For those who prefer Thai horror, "Ghost Ship" will be the perfect treat – just don't watch this on a stormy night aboard a ship, be it haunted or not.

For local movie aficionados, you can either laugh out loud while shivering in your seat with "Ada Apa Dekat Bus Stop", or straight up shiver all through the movie with "Banglo Berkunci".

"The Hallow" is the only English-language horror movie for the month but that doesn't mean it's any less scary than its peers.

Check out the list below to see what these, and some other just as horrifying, movies have got to offer:

"The Bride" (Mandarin)

Liew inadvertently invites a vengeful ghost of a bride into their life when he picks up a strange red envelope on the street and takes it back home. Needless to say, everything was not peachy for the couple ever since the horrifying third wheel shows up. "The Bride" stars Nikki Hsieh, Chris Wu, Chie Tanaka and Vera Yen.
