"Ninja Turtles" behind the scenes

Cowabunga dudes! Wait a minute, wasn't there a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie not too long ago? Well yes, in 2007 a CGI full feature film by Kevin Munroe titled simply "TMNT" did play on our screens leaving nothing much to rave about. Even a voice cast boasting Chris Evans, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kevin Smith, Patrick Stewart, Zhang Ziyi and Laurence Fishburne, couldn't boast it above and beyond the moderate success the film enjoyed. (Grossed USD95 million worldwide over a budget of USD34 million).

So what makes this new adaptation of our loveable childhood ninja turtles think it even has a chance this year? Two words: Michael Bay. Hang on, another two words: Megan Fox. That's right, the famous "Transformers" frenemies have reunited again for another adrenaline packed motion capture and live-action (Yay, real humans!) film that promises to be explosive. Or at least, we hope it'll be after we get first glimpse of the movie when the trailer is launched right here on Cinema Online this Friday, 28 March at 11AM!

Produced by Michael Bay and starring Megan Fox, Jonathan Liebesman, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett and Whoopi Goldberg, the movie will be here this 7 August 2014.
