Leonardo DiCaprio survives in "The Revenant" stills

Leonardo DiCaprio returns to the big screen in "The Revenant", the gruesome yet visually stunning movie by Academy Award-Winning director Alejandro G. Iñárritu ("Birdman").

DiCaprio plays Hugh Glass, a legendary trapper who is robbed and left for dead by the members of his own hunting team after being mauled by a bear. But Glass survives and is now looking for revenge on those who have betrayed him.

"The Revenant" opens in U.S. cinemas come Christmas Day, but it will only reach our shores in January 2016.
