Zombies all aboard the "Train To Busan"
Writer: Naseem Randhawa
Zombie apocalypse movies have been around aplenty, but not many of them are injected with the Asian touch that strikes close to home. That will soon change thanks to the upcoming South Korean film, "Train To Busan", whose trailer not only wowed zombie movie fans with its gritty and terrifying shots, but its premiere at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and subsequent release in South Korea on 20 July 2016 had drawn in rave reviews! The Yeon Sang-ho film stars Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi and Ma Dong-seok and follows a father and his daughter facing a zombie outbreak on a train to, well you guessed it, Busan. Watch out for it in cinemas this 8 September 2016!
Gong Yoo plays a hedge fund manager, Seok-wu, who has to take his
daughter on the train to Busan to visit his ex-wife.
Young actress Kim Su-an plays, Su-an, the estranged daughter of Seok-wu.
Seok-woo finds an ally in the form of Sang-hwa played by Ma Dong-seok.
