The recent Academy Awards ceremony ended with a lot of confusion with "La La Land" temporarily winning the Best Picture Award (for a total of 2 minutes), but the blunder was soon set out straight as "Moonlight" was named the real Best Picture of the 89th Academy Awards. Despite not winning Best Picture, "La La Land" bagged six categories out of the 14 it was nominated for, including Best Director and Best Actress. Let's have a look at the big winners of Oscars 2017 below!

Best Picture – "Moonlight"

Nominees: "Arrival", "Fences", "Hacksaw Ridge", "Hell or High Water", "Hidden Figures", "La La Land", "Lion", "Manchester by the Sea"

Best Director – Damien Chazelle, "La La Land"

Nominees: Denis Villeneuve, "Arrival", Mel Gibson, "Hacksaw Ridge", Kenneth Lonergan, "Manchester by the Sea", Barry Jenkins, "Moonlight"

Best Actor – Casey Affleck, "Manchester by the Sea"
