This 20 July, get ready for a new sci-fi butt-kicking duo in "Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets". Based on a French sci-fi adventure comic, it tells of the space and time travelling Agent Valerian and his partner, Laureline, in their quest to protect the intergalactic city of Alpha. Get to know the characters, creatures and bots that will be featured in the film.

The Pearls are the overseers of Alpha who tasked Valerian and Laureline to protect Alpha when it is in danger.

Doghan Daguis, short brown furry creatures who help Valerian and Laureline on their mission.

Melo, a rainbow-coloured lizard-like... thing.
