The shattered characters of "Glass"

2017 (or end of 2016 in some territories) was an exciting year for fans of M. Night Shyamalan's 'twist movies, as the release of his supernatural horror thriller "Split" marked the continuation of his 2000 superhero thriller "Unbreakable". The James McAvoy-starrer was a thematic sequel to the Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson-starring movie and next year, a threequel that wraps up the trilogy is set to be released in January. Aptly named "Glass" (Jackson's character has brittle bones while McAvoy's character has 24 split personalities!), the upcoming movie will see the return of Willis as David Dunn, Jackson as Mr. Glass and McAvoy as Kevin. Anya Taylor-Joy will also reprise her "Split" role as Casey Cooke while Sarah Paulson ("American Horror Story" series) joins as Dr. Ellie Staple, who treats patients that think they are superheroes. Before the shattered pieces finally click together in the final movie, let's first take a look at the trio that will be leading "Glass". (Note that the posters bear the American release date, here we can catch the movie in cinemas on 17 January.)

James McAvoy reprises his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb, a.k.a. The Horde or The Collective. Starting out with 23 personalities, towards the end of "Split", he develops his 24th and most dangerous personality yet – The Beast.

Samuel L. Jackson is back as Elijah Price a.k.a. Mr. Glass or The Mastermind, an incarcerated mass
murderer with bones that shatter as easily as glass.

Bruce Willis returns as the unbreakable David Dunn a.k.a. The Overseer. His low-key façade hides a superhero with nigh-invulnerability and superhuman strength who is also able to see people's wrongdoings just by touching them.
