17 Jul – Harry Potter and friends are back again on the big screen and it has been reported in the United States that "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince" has smashed preview records at its midnight opening last Wednesday, coming in ahead of previous record holder, "The Dark Knight" (2008). The film is to be in line for bagging the record for the highest midnight sneak preview gross of all time. With regards to the hype over the sixth instalment, movie fans can look forward to the "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince" roadshow happening this weekend, 18 July (Sat) and 19 July 2009 (Sun) at GSC Mid Valley.

There will be fun activities like photography sessions, tattoo giveaways via GSC box office (while stocks last) and movie quiz sessions. However, the main highlight of the event will be the "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince" PlayStation3 game, where participants can check out either the 'Flying Club' or 'Potion Club' game. Registration starts at 11.45am and will be limited to 50 participants per game daily, on a first-come, first-served basis. Win or lose, each participant will go home with a movie premium and the prizes up for grabs include memo pads, notebooks, postcards, square buttons, bookmarks or posters.

During the movie quiz sessions, t-shirts, hats, posters and GSC complimentary passes will be given away. Aside from that, the first 700 patrons to purchase two (2) "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince" tickets at GSC Mid Valley box office counter, will receive one (1) tattoo and be entitled to free one (1) photograph printout of them with the Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger character standees. Photo will be on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last.
