STAR MOVIES Fan Fest 2009

5 Jun – STAR MOVIES Fan Fest 2009 is back and ready to deliver the best of Hollywood movies every night throughout July and August. Viewers can catch 62 blockbusters movies over 62 nights on STAR MOVIES (Astro channel 413).

Beginning 1 July, STAR MOVIES will showcase the best of various genres from drama, romance, comedy and action to horror and psycho thrillers until 31 August 2009. Some of the movies that viewers can catch on their television screens are "Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End", "The Ramen Girl", "Dr Suess: Horton Hears A Who", "Juno", "What Happens In Vegas" and many more.

In conjunction with STAR MOVIES Fan Fest 2009, come and witness or take part in one of the most exciting costume characters parade in Malaysia – Heroes and Villains March! STAR MOVIES will also bring in their own contingent of characters for the march, which are Captain Jack Sparrow from "Pirates Of The Caribbean", Alice from "Resident Evil", Giselle from "Enchanted", King Peter Pevensie and King Miraz from "The Chronicles Of Narnia."

Create or rent your own costume at the Superhero Factory at Movie Carnival 2009 or come as you are on 7 June 2009, 3.30pm at the Blue Atrium Entrance for the march! Attractive prizes will be given to the best lookalike masked character, best lookalike non-masked character and best overall marcher. A Samsung LCD TV is up for the grand prize to the best overall marcher!

Participation is free and keen costumers would need to register before 7 June (12pm). Registration forms can be obtained at www.moviecarnival.com.my or at the information counters at Blue and Orange Atriums, Sunway Pyramid. The first 100 participants to register will each be given a Baskin Robbins 'buy 1 shake, free 1 shake' voucher.
