9 Mar – Two of Taiwan's hottest male idols, Ethan Juan ("My Queen") and Mark Chao ("Black & White") will be heading to Singapore to promote their upcoming action blockbuster "Monga". Both stars will arrive in Singapore on 5 April 2010 to attend promotional events, meet-the-fan sessions, and the movie's gala premiere at GV VivoCity.

"Monga", which opened in Taiwan on 5 February 2010, broke records on opening day and opening weekend gross, by grossing more than NT$200 million (SG$8.8 million) during its first two weeks of release and even outshining "Avatar" in terms of first-day receipts.

It tells the story of five young men growing up the oldest district in Taiwan named Monga, which is famous for its sites like Snake Alley and Longshan Temple, as well as its seedy nightlife. Under the guidance of a veteran gangster, the youngsters are taught the heritage created by the founders of Monga. They have no idea, however, of a storm brewing that will soon break every hint of order and remove the last remaining grandeur of Old Town Monga.

"Monga" opens in Singapore cinemas on 15 April 2010, while it is yet to be known if this movie will show in Malaysia.
