Catch movie themed characthers from Iron Man at Movie BlockBusta!

25 May - Be prepared during this school holiday as Movie BlockBusta 2010 will take place from 4 to 14 June at Queensbay Mall, Penang, promising a lineup of blockbuster movies, fun games and prizes, movie character appearances as well as exclusive 3D trailers.

Visitors can look forward to appearances of Shrek and movie themed characters from Iron Man, Predators, Resident Evil, Hellboy among others. Coloring contests will be held every Sunday, where winners will walk away with prizes.

Fantasy becomes reality at the Costume Studio. Presented by TM, the Costume Studio has a variety of movie costumes and accessories to transform participants into their favourite character. Strike a pose, and if you are judged to be the Best Look-A-Like, you will stand a chance to win prizes.

Learn more about the technology behind the 3D TV and experience it for yourself at the Mini Theatre, where Sony will display their latest innovative offering and showcase 3D trailers of upcoming movies namely "Resident Evil: Afterlife", "Sammy's Adventures: The Secret Passage" and more.

Movie fans of all ages joined the "Movie Character Look-A-Like" contest during Movie Moments held at various Tesco outlets from 10 April - 2 May 2010.

Look out for the Movie Marathon Challenge, where Berjaya HVN will showcase promotional screenings of movies such as "G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra", "Fast & Furious 4", "Shrek The Third", "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen", "Hellboy 2" and more. The 20-hour challenge will take place from Saturday, 12 June at 4.00pm to Sunday 13 June at 12 pm and participants who stay awake through all the screenings will win attractive prizes namely a 42" LCD TV.

Visitors can also look forward to a special Treasure Hunt on Saturday, 12 June. Presented by Digi Telecommunications, participants will be hunting for movie clues all around Queensbay Mall, where winners can look forward to RM3,000 worth of prizes from Digi.
