22 Jul – Following the success of "Beast Stalker", director Dante Lam has roped in the regular cast and crew from the movie to deliver a brand new movie titled "Stool Pigeon". Dante Lam had expressed that "Stool Pigeon" would be a darker, more serious movie than "Beast Stalker". "In this movie, I've practically pushed the actors until the verge of madness!"

'Stool pigeon', slang for informants working for law enforcers, is the film's main highlight. Nick Cheung ("Connected"), who won six Best Actor awards, including Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Horse Film Awards for "Beast Stalker", returns to "Stool Pigeon", this time playing a dishonest cop who relies heavily on informants to solve his cases. Nicholas Tse ("Bodyguards And Assassins") turns into an informant for Nick Cheung, a different role from his struggling cop character in "Beast Stalker".

Apart from Nick Cheung and Nicholas Tse, Taiwanese actress Kwai Lun-Mei ("Secret", "Taipei Exchanges") joins the cast as an aggressive robber who betrays her triad boss boyfriend, running away with Nicholas Tse. Nicholas was full of praises for Kwai Lun-Mei, commending her for her utmost professionalism during her scenes. Nicholas Tse also did most of his stunts, especially in one scene, where his character had a run-in with the local triads, he had instructed the extras to actually hit him when he's on the floor. "I told them to hit me harder, or else I'll hit them after that!"

When Nick Cheung was asked about whether he would have another breakthrough character in "Stool Pigeon", he expressed that his six awards for "Beast Stalker" will not be a milestone for this movie as well as his expectations from Dante Lam. "I never work for the sake of winning an award. My role in "Stool Pigeon" will be something that the audiences have never seen before from me."

"Stool Pigeon" is slated to show in Singapore and Malaysia on 26 August 2010!
