Franco's Pre-Oscar Jitters

Franco is busy rehearsing with his co-emcee, Anne Hathaway for the Academy Awards on 27 February 2011

18 Feb – James Franco admits that he is nervous about hosting the upcoming 83rd Academy Awards on Sunday, 27 February 2011 in an interview with Showbizspy.

"I'm the most nervous I have ever been," said Franco, 32. "I think it's actually worse than when I had to give a presentation in my class at Yale."

"The 127 Hours" hunk is not only co-hosting the Oscars with "Love And Other Drugs" star Anne Hathaway, he is also in the running for the Best Actor award at the most prestigious movie event of the year.

Franco jokingly added that he even thinks an Oscar statuette would make the perfect murder weapon and that he is shocked at just how lethally heavy one of those famous awards can be.

"It's really heavy. I don't know if it has happened in any movie but you could do a great murder scene with one of those things!"

"127 Hours" is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston's (James Franco) remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah for five days.

Cinema Online's "127 Hours" guests recently got the opportunity to catch Franco's nerve-wrecking moments at GSC 1Utama. After the screening, we asked some of our viewers what they thought of the movie overall and how many stars would they rate it out of 5.
