9 Feb – The final instalment of the famous Chinese New Year flick series, "All's Well End's Well 2011" is the top of the box office collection in Malaysia with a collection of more than RM3 million in 4 days since its opening on 3 February 2011, according to a press release by local distributor RAM Entertainment. "All's Well End's Well 2011", starring Hong Kong heavyweights such as Donnie Yen, Carina Lau, Cecilia Cheung, Louis Koo, Raymond Wong, Chapman To, Lynn Xiong and mainland actress Yi Ni overtook other Chinese movies including the ever popular "I Love Hong Kong" and "Mr. & Mrs. Incredible" for the second spot close behind the Hollywood blockbuster "The Green Hornet" starring Jay Chou and Seth Rogen.
The press release also commends the favourable response received by the Chinese New Year - Valentine's romantic comedy movie "What Women Want" which opened for limited sneak shows at selected cinemas during the festive season, despite the stiff competition from other Chinese movies. "What Women Want", starring superstars Andy Lau and Gong Li will be released nationwide on 10 February 2011. In conjunction with the release of the movie, there will be a "What Women Want" Valentine's Day Carnival at Tropicana City Mall from 12 to 13 February 2011 that will feature various activities for couples as well as artiste performances by Amy Wang Meng Lee, Soo Winci and many more.
