15 Jul – Edward Norton ("Fight Club") is apparently in the final stages of talks to play villain to Jeremy Renner's character in "The Bourne Legacy", according to a report by Variety.
Helmed by Tony Gilroy, director of the previous three "Bourne" films, the spin-off will also star Rachel Weisz. Though all involved have been tight-lipped, it's believed the film will not feature Matt Damon's Jason Bourne character. Instead, Renner will play a fellow assassin trained in the CIA's Operation Treadstone, with Norton as his nemesis. This will be Norton's first role in a high-profile action movie since 2008's "The Incredible Hulk", which received mixed reviews. Norton, is currently filming Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom" with Bruce Willis, Frances McDormand, and Owen Wilson.
