9 March – The Hong Kong Film Festival 2011 will be back in Malaysia for the third time from 17 to 20 March at GSC Mid Valley, GSC Pavilion KL and GSC 1 Utama, showcasing classics from the 80s up to the present day movies. Among the titles include Tsui Hark's "Once Upon A Time In China", Jackie Chan's "Police Story", John Woo's "A Better Tomorrow", Wilson Yip's "Ip Man" and even the controversial lesbian-themed drama "All About Love" starring Sandra Ng and Vivian Chow, among others. The film fest will be kicking off on 16 March with Derek Tsang and Jimmy Wan's romance "A Lover's Discourse" inaugural screening as well as an appearance by the co-directors at the movie workshop as guest speakers along with actress Kay Tse, at GSC Mid Valley from 10am till 1.30pm. Tickets are priced at RM5 while complimentary movie pass coupons can be printed for selected movie titles only at GSC's website and tickets can be redeemed at the box office counters.
