28 Jul – "Infernal Affairs" star Chapman To has confirmed to join Ah Niu and Elanne Kwong for Adrian Teh's upcoming romantic comedy sequel "Wedding Diary 2" and will be heading to Penang before 30 July to shoot the movie, according to CNPanyu.com. The 40-year-old-actor was approached by his close friend Elanne Kwong to act in the "Wedding Diary" sequel just after the Hong Kong comedian recovered from a rare condition called the Miller Fisher syndrome. Even though the actor would be making a brief appearance in the film, he still agreed to participate in the production without caring too much on his remuneration. "We haven't discussed on how much we are going to pay him. Chapman has immediately agreed to give us a hand right after Elanne approached him. He is currently the A-list comedian in Hong Kong and I'm sure having him around is a huge credit for "Wedding Diary 2"," said Lim Teck, the founder of Clover Films. The "Wedding Diary" had gained a total of RM4.5 million from both Malaysian and Singaporean box office back in February this year, and will see release in Hong Kong cinemas on 6 September as well as in China soon. Whereas Malaysian and Singaporean fans can look forward to watch "Wedding Diary 2" during the Chinese New Year season next year.
