6 Nov – 68th Academy Awards Best Actor, Nicolas Cage, has been confirmed to join Sylvester Stallone and other A-list action veterans in "The Expendables 3", according to Screen Crave. Stallone announced on his Facebook page that Cage, 48, will provide his "veneer intellectual" to the hunky "Expendables" squad in the third instalment of the successful action franchise, which started back in 2010. "We are preparing the film with the same passion and commitment as the previous two. We have confirmed Nicolas Cage, a master actor who gives a veneer intellectual group," said Stallone, who directed "The Expendables" and wrote the screenplay for "The Expendables 2". The "Rocky" star also expressed his eagerness in inviting "Indiana Jones" himself, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Mickey Rourke to the star-studded line-up in the new film.
