MBO Cinemas adds two new digital screens in MBO KSL City Mall.

29 Oct – Moviegoers hailing from Johor and Singapore can now enjoy more movie-watching with the expansion of MBO Cinemas in KSL City Mall to feature two more digital halls.

MBO Cinemas will also be revamping their outlet at Terminal 2 Seremban to feature four more halls by 4 December 2012 to their current six, resulting in a total of 10 halls with over 1,456 seats.

In addition, MBO Cinemas will also launch their new outlet in Citta Mall Ara Damansara with at least 50% of the halls being digital upon opening, but will go 100% digital together with Terminal 2 Seremban by the end of the year.

MBO Cinemas at KSL City Mall, Johor Bahru first opened its doors to the public on 27 December 2010 with a seating capacity of 1,378 seats in 8 halls.

The addition of digital halls to MBO Cinemas at KSL City Mall is the first step of MBO Cinemas' plan to go fully digital by the second quarter of 2013. Prior to the new expansion of their outlet at KSL City Mall, MBO Cinemas opened an outlet at Heritage Mall Kota Tinggi, Johor.

Meanwhile, MBO KSL City Mall is the only other MBO cinema in Johor Bahru besides MBO U Mall.
