2 Jan – The "Toy Story" movies may have ended with "Toy Story 3", but fans that cannot get enough can now get more updates about their beloved characters in the form of a comic book miniseries from Disney and Marvel Comics, according to Daily Chilli.
The miniseries has been slated for a four-issue release, launching early next year, and will be written by Tea Orsi, a regular comic contributor for Disney with illustrations by Teresa Quezada-Geer and Antonello Dalena. "Everyone loves "Toy Story", so we're excited to team with our friends at Disney-Pixar to bring readers all new stories of our favourite characters from these blockbuster films," said Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso. The return of the series as a comic book miniseries is aimed to educate kids while making the learning process fun, as well as indulge their more adult fans. "What's next for Woody and Buzz in these stories? We can't wait for you to find out," he added. The title's debut issue will feature a cover by Marco Ghiglione and Silvano Scolari, with the title "Master Woody", and sees Woody and Buzz attempt to control Andy's mischievous new puppy Buster. "Toy Story" #1 will be released in March, 2012.
