26 Mar – Following the opening of Shaw Theatres Lido IMAX in Singapore in May last year, Singapore exhibitor Shaw Theaters has inked another deal with Toronto-based IMAX Corporation to install a second IMAX digital screen in the new JCube Entertainment Complex this coming 5 April. The IMAX screen will be an addition to Shaw Theatres JCUBE in Jurong East Regional Center's six Digital halls. Although its name has yet to be confirmed, like its first IMAX screen, Shaw JCube DIGITAL IMAX 3D will be able to screen 2D and 3D IMAX films. Shaw has announced the possibility of promotional activities and giveaways in conjunction with this new opening. It should be noted that this opening will provide moviegoers and fans that will be missing out on this week's "Wrath Of The Titans" more opportunities to catch the film. Shaw's first IMAX screen debuted in Shaw Lido in Level 5 & 6 Shaw House on Orchard Road. It is said that their next IMAX screen will open in 2015, in Shaw Punggol, Punggol Central.
