14 Feb – As franchise director Michael Bay confirms a release date for "Transformers 4" today, local cinema chain TGV has announced its plans to re-release "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" in Digital 3D IMAX this 16 February at TGV Sunway Pyramid. First introduced to the public on 13 December 2011, the IMAX hall at TGV Sunway Pyramid will now allow local fans of the alien robot franchise to witness the third instalment of the movie in Digital 3D IMAX for the first time. "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" was first released back in June 2011 available only in the standard 35mm, 2D and 3D versions. In other related news, director Michael Bay had posted on his website on the much rumoured about "Transformers" sequel, for which he now has finally set the record straight saying that there will only be one more movie, which will be due for a 2014 release. "There has been a lot of speculation about what I'm going to do next and when or if I will do another "Transformers". I have just concluded a deal with Paramount to do two movies, but it won't be two "Transformers". I will first do "Pain & Gain" with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Then I will do the next "Transformers" for release on June 29, 2014." Tickets for "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" in Digital 3D IMAX releasing on 16 February 2012 at TGV Sunway Pyramid is expected to cost RM26 per person. Watch this space for showtimes!
