29 Nov – Moviegoers in Johor and Singapore will now be able to enjoy movies in IMAX in Malaysia instead of having to make a trip to Singapore as TGV Cinemas will be unveiling their biggest IMAX hall yet on 12 December 2013 in TGV Tebrau City, Johor Bahru. In conjunction with the opening of their IMAX hall, free tickets to experience movies in IMAX from 12 to 13 December 2013 will be given out. Previously, TGV Tebrau City houses 10 halls with 2,114 seats. It is the second largest cinema in Johor, after Cathay Cineplex City Square. Another IMAX hall is also set to open in TGV Gurney Paragon, Penang by mid-2014.
