Black returns to "Fast & Furious"

20 Sep –Lucas Black, who stared as the lead character in "Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift", is set to reprise his role as Sean Boswell in "Fast & Furious 7".

Black has signed a deal that will have his character appear in the next three instalments of the franchise. He joins Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tony Jaa, Donda Rousey and Djimon Hounsou.

As shooting of the film is still in progress, Vin Diesel had been sharing set images on his Facebook. The actor was keen to treat fans to a sneak peak. One picture shows Vin Diesel and co-star Paul Walker standing by a lake and looking out into the distance.

Last May's "Fast & Furious 6" is the highest grossing film for Universal. In the worldwide box office, the film made $750 million (RM247 billion). "Fast & Furious 7", directed by James Wan, will likely be released around mid-2014.

Lucas Black was last seen as Pee Wee Reese in the Jackie Robinson biopic "42" and as Paul Geary in "Promised Land" in 2012.
