27 Nov – Known for his acting, Bront Palarae took on the role of one of the three directors in his new movie "Kolumpo". The actor and director directed the first story of the multilingual three story film about the city of Kuala Lumpur.
When Bront Palarae was asked his feelings towards gala premieres and red carpet events like at yesterday night's "Kolumpo" premiere, he confessed that he feels uncomfortable.
"I feel like I'm a bit awkward at red carpet events, but if my film does well and it is received well I don't really mind it anymore," said Palarae, "I don't really care where the place is, because the feelings are always the same and it is satisfying!"
"Kolumpo" is a Malaysian anthology film which compiles three multilingual short stories about the common themes of life, hopes and dream set in the city of Kuala Lumpur.
The film will be shown in cinemas on 5 December 2013.
