Chris Evans debuts "1:30 Train"

Chris Evans will follow in the footsteps of actors-turned-directors Ryan Gosling, George Clooney and Sean Penn.

3 Aug – Yet another actor is joining the directors' league: Chris Evans. The "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is interested in directing a romance feature film in the vein of Richard Linklater's "Before Sunrise", which he will also produce and star in.

The logline for the film has been revealed to be "two strangers who meet in Manhattan and spend one night together as the conflicts in their own lives become the basis for their exploration of each other and themselves." The film itself is titled "1:30 Train" and will begin shooting this fall.

Academy Award winner Ronald Bass, best known for his screenwriting work for "Rain Man", will be working on the script for "1:30 Train". Meanwhile, producers McG and Stephanie Savage's production company Wonderland Sound and Vision will be financing the indie film.
