26 Feb – Free movie screenings for the best films of last year will be held at Cathay Cineplex Damansara, GSC Alamanda Putrajaya and TGV Cinemas KLCC as part of the re-screenings in conjunction with the 25th Festival Filem Malaysia (FFM25). One of the most popular Malaysian films that will be shown among the free screenings is "Ombak Rindu", which stars Aaron Aziz, Maya Karin and Lisa Surihani. Set to also show in cinemas as part of FFM25 includes "Songlap", "SAM", "Jiwa Taiko", "Ngorat", "Sumpahan Kum Kum", "Hantu Gangster", "Cinta Kura Kura", "29 Februari", "Untuk Tiga Hari", "Ah Beng The Movie: Three Wishes", "Apa Celop Toqq", and "Petaling Street Warriors".
To kick start the festival, Mamat Khalid's latest musical feature, "Rock Oo! Rimba Bara Kembali", will be screen at FFM25 this Wednesday, 27 February. Some of the stars of to-be-screened films for the festival will attend the premiere screening of "Rock Oo! Rimba Bara Kembali", including its actors.
