25 Sep – Vin Diesel's latest Facebook update has proven the rumours of Kurt Russell being involved with "Fast & Furious 7" to be true.

It was already a rumour that actor Kurt Russell was to join "Fast 7", but a Tweet on the project's official Twitter page had confirmed it. He joins Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tony Jaa, Donda Rousey and Djimon Hounsou.

Kurt Russell's latest appearance was in "The Art Of The Steal", which is currently on limited release in Canada. He stars alongside Chris Diamantopoulos, Jay Baruchel, Francie Tobin, Kenneth Welsh and Matt Dillon.

The film, written and directed by Jonathan Sobol, tells the story of a group of thieves who don't trust each other and are out to steal a painting by Georges Seurat, or in another subplot, a valuable book by Gutenberg.

Last May, "Fast & Furious 6" was the highest grossing film for Universal. In the worldwide box office, the film made $750 million (RM247 billion). "Fast & Furious 7", which is directed by James Wan, will likely be released around mid-2014.
