Lee Pace turns villain

Lee Pace is the villain in "Guardians Of The Galaxy".

24 Apr – Lee Pace may have lost the part of Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord for "Guardians Of The Galaxy", but the actor has impressed director James Gunn and Marvel enough to be pulled back into the superhero film as a major villain.

His role is currently being kept under wraps but judging by the latest casting of Ophelia Lovibond as an aide to The Collector, it is speculated that Pace may be playing the role, and could potentially end up as a big problem to the Guardians.

The Collector, also known as Taneleer Tivan, is one of the oldest beings in the universe who upon foreseeing the rise of beings of power that will ultimately destroy all life in the universe, takes it on himself to collect important living beings and artefacts all over the universe for safekeeping.

Lee Pace as Legolas's father Thranduil in "The Hobbit" trilogy.

The actor and Lovibond will be joining confirmed cast members Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Michael Rooker in the film.

Pace was last seen in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2" as Garrett and in Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln". He will next be seen reprising his role as Thranduil, Legolas's father in "The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug".
