Lizzy Caplan joins "The Interview"


Lizzy Caplan gets a huge role as the female lead in "The Interview".

6 Oct – Lizzy Caplan has taken the lead female role in "The Interview", a comedy film in which Seth Rogen is set to write, star and direct. The film will also feature Rogen's best friend and actor James Franco.

The movie tells the story of a handsome talk-show host (played by James Franco) and his producer (played by Seth Rogen), who find themselves involved in the midst of an assassination attempt to kill the North Korean President.

The "Masters Of Sex" actress will play a sexy, cleavage-showing CIA agent named Lacey who wants the talk show host to assassinate the North Korean President.

This is the first time the three stars have worked together since the cult TV series "Freaks And Geeks" more than a decade ago. Caplan has previously stared with Franco in 2010's "127 Hours".

"The Interview" will be the follow up to Rogen's directorial debut "This Is The End". Co-directing the film is Evan Goldberg, his long-time collaborator.

Seth Rogen is set to appear in "Neighbors" coming out in mid-2014. "Neighbors" tells the story of a couple with a new born baby who face unexpected difficulties when they move next door to a fraternity house. Seth Rogen plays as Mac Radner and Rose Byrne playes Kelly Radner. Zac Efron also stars as the fraternity leader who gives them grief.
