Nightcrawler may return

It is a mystery whether Nightcrawler will make it back to "X-Men".

13 March – James McAvoy, who plays the younger version of Charles Xavier, had earlier let slip that Alan Cumming might be making a comeback to the "X-Men" franchise during an interview with Heat Radio.

The interview sparked excitement about Nightcrawler's possible reunion with the original gang but another report from Superherohype had confirmed that no such appearance will be made by Alan Cumming.

No source has been cited by the site for the news but at this point, there has been no confirmation from the actor's side either except a mention about his possible appearance by McAvoy.

"First Class" cast will soon meet their older selves in upcoming "X-Men" instalment.

There has been high interest among fans about who will be back for "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" as the latest instalment will be helmed by original "X-Men" director, Bryan Singer. On top of that, the story provides a platform that allows both the cast of the classy prequel "X-Men: First Class" as well as the original "X-Men" trilogy to come together in one full circle.

Currently, confirmed cast includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry.

"X-Men: Days Of Future Past" is scheduled to be released on 18 July 2014.
