2 Apr – Recently, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg attended WonderCon in California, US dressed in costume to keep up with the theme of the event itself, with Rogen in a Wolverine costume to talk about his upcoming film, "This Is The End". During the Q&A session, Seth Rogen said that we should expect a lot of celebrity deaths. "It's funny to see famous people die in fairly graphic ways," he laughed. Rogen and Goldberg also stated that the pitch for "This Is The End" to film executives was more difficult than they originally thought. Execs took quite a bit of convincing after the idea of having celebrities play themselves.
When asked to talk more about what the film will be like, the most noted quote was when Rogen and Goldberg described Michael Cera's movie version of himself as a "lunatic cokehead." A never before seen trailer for the apocalyptic comedy debuted at the event for the fans who attended the panel which also featured Jay Baruchel, Michael Cera, James Franco, Paul Rudd and Rihanna. WonderCon is the sister show of well-known convention Comic-Con International, embracing all the main aspects of the latter, including comics, movies, TV, animation, and many more. It is also a venue for previews and early screenings of major motion pictures.
